iPhone Can't save my SHSH blobs. How?

I choose SHSH blobs from the extras menu, but the fetch tab is greyed out - so i can't select it. How can i save the SHSH blobs then?

EDIT: I've just opened Cydia (have only just jailbroken - i bought my iPhone 4S last week) & at the top it says "SHSH: iOS 6.0.1". Is this all that's available to me? I'm currently running 5.1.1

When i did my iPhone 3GS there were a stack of blobs showing.

You can only save your blobs when that firmware is still signed by apple.

As you did not save them manually before with TinyUmbrella and only jailbroke just now the only blobs available are for 6.01 which is the firmware apple is currently signing.

You cannot get the rest anymore.

Your old 3GS was jailbroken and cydia saved the blobs for each new IPSW as it came out and became the currently signed IPSW, that is why it has a bunch.
