Can't send more than one pic at a time (MMS)

Anyone else having an issue trying to send more than one picture in a single text? I have a 64GB 4S. I have tried a hard reset and a fresh sync and that didn't help. I tried to send a text with multiple pics using iMessage to another iPhone and standard text to a non iPhone. I can push the camera icon in the text and tell it to choose existing or take photo or video and neither option will work. The selection will turn blue like it knows I'm telling it what I would like it to do and the options pull down like it's going to go to the pics but it just stays in the message app. Any ideas?

Just tried the same thing with a friends 4S and it didn't work either. Did they take away the option of sending more than one pic at a time?
