Hi all!
My iPhone 14 pro (latest iOS) cannot seem to send opt-out text messages - often very short phone numbers. It just 'fails to send'. It does not work on my Mac either.
I have no problem with sending anything else, either text or iMessage. But for some reason I cannot send opt-out messages. I cannot figure out what the problem is.... .anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.

  • Go to Settings-->Messages-->iMessage toggle button and make sure it is turned ON.
  • Underneath the iMessage toggle button (Settings-->Messages-->Send Receive), verify you have your phone number and/or email address(es) entered in the You Can Receive iMessages To And Reply From field.
  • Go to Settings-->Messages-->Send as SMS and toggle this option ON.
  • Go to Settings-->Messages-->SMS/MMS-->MMS Messaging and toggle this option ON.
