Can't Send/Recieve SMS's, Pls Help

I've tried to send sms's to my friends, and on my phone the bar that says sending appears and says it's been sent, and the text appears on the screen as being sent, but my friends never get them. They have even tried to send me text's and I have never received theirs. Any ideas?

You phone is activated with the phone company (O2/AT&T etc) right?

First time I've ever heard of this problem before...

Yeah, it's activated with ATT.

Are you on AT&T? I had this problem yesterday for the entire day. I have two 3G iPhones on my account and neither one could send or receive text messages. I finally called AT&T and they were able to "correct" the problem. The guy apparently told me he had to correct some provisions on the phone numbers. He then had me power down the phone for 1 minute and turn it back on. I was finally able to send and receive messages once again. What a pain that was. Hope this helps.

Try calling AT&T if it's activated with AT&T.

Agreed you will have to call and check that your phone is authorized to send and receive messages.
