2 days ago my iPhone 11 was sending text messages to non iPhone users no problem. I wake up the next day to reply to a text.. and it will not send stating won’t deliver in red. I can receive texts I can go on the internet …This was all a sudden never happened before. I have great internet connection great wifi you name it! Called my phone company tried all trouble shooting called apple tried all troubleshooting and I mean everything! Apple says it’s not the phone and my phone company says I have to wait for an extensive tech to call me back in 5 days.. I cannot wait that long to send texts I work from home right now! Anyone with freedom mobile with this issue? Anyone in general have this issue? Could it be the SIM card? Which I did take out and put back in!!! I’m so confused and if it was the SIM card why can I do everything else on my phone? Feedback? Like I said I have tried every single thing!!
 
I can make phone calls use the web and receive texts! Just can’t send any sms texts.
 
I've had this happen before. It's a system issue not hardware, it goes back to normal in a day or less. Can't give you any info other than it just starts working again. By the way this only happens with sms for me, never iMessage

Really? This is the first time this has happened to me.. it’s been a full day and a half now and iMessage is working. Freedom my phone company said they don’t know what’s wrong other then get a new SIM card so I’m hoping your right.
 
SMS can be hit or miss. The same thing happens here on occasion but generally works okay. What you need to do is have an alternate way to send texts to those folks who do not own an iPhone. I use "WhatsApp" which seems to be more reliable than SMS, but there are other apps which do the same thing.

If you do use "WhatsApp" the person you're sending the text to must also be using "WhatsApp", so that might not be the best solution.
 
Yes that’s true I do need an alternative for sure I hate messaging on Facebook. Fingers crossed it goes back working soon. I appreciate your reply!

I've only had issues with sms and it always starts working again but I'm positive it didn't take longer than a day.. Luckily I only have a handful of contacts that don't use iMessage so it isn't a huge issue for me. I'd stay on your cellular provider if it doesn't clear up soon. Maybe you can try a new SIM card if you have a spare handy, if not I'm sure your provider would give you a replacement for free.
