cant send text on jailbroken iphone

i have a prepaid telcel mexican sim
i can receive texts
but once i want to send something
it says error
yes i do have credit on the phone
it's a white 16gb 3g 3.1.2 jailbroken my blacksn0w

A friend of mine had the same problem.
I think you gotta enter something in the phone like the carriers identification number along with your cellphone number.

Or in short just go into the phone and punch this exact number I have below like as if you were making a phone call and hit send. Make sure you have the correct star and pound signs and plus sign and no spaces. That should do it.
Restart iphone when done and test it out.
