I have Family Sharing set up on iTunes. I am the organizer and my daughter is one of the authorized shared persons.

My daughter purchased a new album on her iPhone under her iTunes ID. When she connects to my (our family) Mac she gets a message that says “Some of the purchased items on the iPhone “Name”, including “song name”, could not be transferred to your iTunes library because you are not authorized for them on this computer.”

I’ve checked the Mac, iTunes and iPhone settings are all set correctly. But, still can’t seem to figure this out.

Can anyone help? Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

When on iTunes (on your Mac) :
- Clic on account in the menu bar
- Authorisations
- Authorise this computer
Ask your daughter to enter her id and password and it's done.

This will get it fixed.

Your daughter doesn't have to connect to your iTunes. You can simply go to Family purchases and download her purchases with your ID from there: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201085
