Here is the background information: I have both personal and work iPhones which are on two separate accounts. Personal iPhone is on my personal Apple account and the work iPhone is on a separate Apple iTunes account (I know it's dumb, but employer's rules). Earlier this week, I accidentally plugged in the work iPhone into my personal iMac (logged in on my personal Apple account) and it started to sync with my iMac which is on my personal Apple account. After I realized what I had done, I pulled the plug (literally) and removed my work iPhone from

Problem: Now on my personal iPhone, when I try to update my iOS apps using the App Store > Updates, my personal iPhone asks me Sign In to the iTunes Store using my Work Apple ID on my Work Apple account. I've tried rebooting the phone and it still asks me this. The notice to sign in to the work Apple account now won't go away on my personal iPhone even though I have signed out of my personal account and signed back into my iPhone and have signed out of the iTunes store on my work phone. Is there a way around where they can be bypassed or somehow set to where it won't ask me to sign in on the other account? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It sounds like an app from your work account might've found its way into your personal phone and now wants you to sign into that account to update it. Have you tried updating each app separately to see if one is triggering the login? If that's not the case I'm not sure.

I have a number of the same apps on both phones (Box, DropBox, Yahoo Mail, Google Maps, etc. etc) however, the app that the log in message is hung on is my pharmacy app which is only on my personal iPhone. I'm uncertain how I would go about updating each app separately. This message appears whether or not I tap on the singular Update or multiple Update All in the App Store app.

Thank you, any other suggestions

Back up the app in question's data, if any, then delete it. Then, sign out of the app store, and sign in on your personal account. Then install the app. Now the app will be owned by your personal account and it shouldn't ask you anymore.

Just deleting and reinstalling the pharmacy app seemed to work. I'll see how long this lasts. Thanks so much for your suggestion!

Yeah, there's a good chance you were signed into your work account when you installed that app. Even for a free app, it associated it with that account so you have to log in to update it.

It happens with songs, too; every time I restore my phone from backup I have to hit "cancel" to it asking it for my ex-girlfriend's Apple ID and password, because there's songs she sent me in my library. They may be DRM-free but they're still associated with her account so it asks me for her login when restoring. Luckily iTunes can sync them to the phone with no problem.
