Can't slide notifications to open them

Ever since installing iOS 11 public beta, sliding notifications on locked phone does not prompt password/fingerprint to open the notification as it did with iOS 10.

I've had this problem with iOS public beta 2 and beta 3.

Any ideas on how to re-enable this?

You can't. Push/long-press the notification.

You can't. Push/long-press the notification.

You can long press to preview notification and see other options and then press again to go to the appropriate app.

However you don't actually need to long press to go straight to the appropriate app. Just tap the notification and the pin screen will appear and then take you directly to the appropriate app / email / message.
