Cant sort lossless music by track number?

Hi there. I just bought a new album and it seems to be downloaded to my iMac as lossless.....which is great but....I cant seem to sort by track number like other albums....is this because its lossless? I want to listen the the entire album as it was intended to be arranged...(by track number). thanks for any info.

If you’re using Apple Music app to listen to it, you should be able to edit the tracks & add the track numbers individually. Might be tedious, depending on the number of tracks, but it should work. I’ve done that many times.

yes using the music app on iMac......the track numbers are there, but they dont sort in order as they do with other albums.......just plays in random order.....I thought maybe it was like wav files where they dont keep tags like that....but flac or apple lossless apparently does....(thats why they show up)...so not sure why I wont play them in order.

That's probably because I am just overlooking something haha. It just sorted fine in my car, so it must be an APP thing my fault). No big deal. thanks for trying! =)
