I am running a headless mini on 10.9.2.

It is used as a media server.

My problem is I can't stop it from sleeping.

I have tried the following:

Energy Saver preferences set as follows:

Computer Sleep - Never
Display Sleep - 1 Minute
Put Hard disk to sleep box - Unchecked
Wake for Network access - Checked
Startup after Power Failure - Checked
Enable Power Nap - Unchecked

I have also installed Caffeine and it is set to indefinite.

Despite all the above the Mac mini still goes into sleep mode!

Any help much appreciated as I can't come up with any thing else to do.

Heck, I've got the other problem, danged thing won't sleep after installing Mavs...

This happened to me when I set scheduled sleep & completely forgot. Have you checked?

Wow, had completely overlooked that and yes, for some unknown reason, my computer was set to nap at certain times.

Thank you!

^^^^^ you guys should just swap computers.

Ha!

I did fix this issue through a scratch install on a new partition. PITA, but it did the trick. I've had this mini for quite a while now (early 2009) and I'm guessing some cruft got built up over time in the various upgrades I've done on it.
