Can't suddenly print from my iPhone

Hi,

I have a HP Envy 4527 and Mac Mini and iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 17) connected to the same wifi.
Recently when I try to print anything using iPhone, I select the printer, it keeps loading and deselecting the printer.

It worked fine in past, and it works fine on my Mac.

Any idea what could be the issue?

Or, HP printer might have flaked out? Had a similar issue happen with a relative's Brother laser printer and I had to re-enter the wifi password on the Brother to have Air Print start working again.

Nothing was changed tbh.
And it still works on Mac so it's weird.

delete HP smart on your iPhone. Then reset the network settings. Reinstall HP Smart, add the printer. Try to print.

Also have a look for new FW for the HP printer, it's a bit of a hassle to update but might solve the problem.
Have a look in the release notes for the FW, HP was, at least in the past, fairly good at writing what the changes were.

recently i suddenly was not able to print from my iPhone to my epson.
i could print from my mac, but not from my iPhone.
it had been working perfectly for a few years.
nothing worked until i tried deleting the printer (from my mac) and then reinstalling it (from my mac).
this worked.
although im not sure why deleting on my mac was able to make the iPhone see the printer again.

I’ve opened the HP app on my iPhone and it suddenly works 😹
