I hope someone can help...

I have a 3G iPhone which is activated. I just purchased a 1.1.4 1st gen iPhone and Jailbroke and unlocked it (or at least I thought I did). I would like to use the SIM from the 3G in the 1st gen iPhone but it doesn't seem to be working. I went through the unlock process twice just to be sure but no dice. Is there any way I can set up so I can just swap my SIM back and forth?

Thanks much for the help!

What carrier and country is the iPhone 3G on?

iPhone 3G has a 3G sim card which won't work in a 2G iPhone no matter if the 2G iPhone is unlocked or not.

Thanks for the reply. Carrier is AT&T here in the US. Funny thing is both sim cards say 3G on them. So I guess there's no way to swap sim between iPhones (3g and first gen)?

Are you sure the one in the 2G iPhone is a 3G sim? I didn't think that would work?
