iPod Can't Sync my Classic iPod

Hi, I have a 5th gen iPod 30gig (white). Never had a problem. For the past 2 days I can't sync. I keep getting an error message, "Can not be synced. An Unknown error occurred (-39)."
I have iTunes7, 7.7.1(11) on my eMac.
iPod firmware version 1.3

I tried resetting the iPod and restarting my computer but I still can't sync.

Anyone out there with a similar experience, advice/help?
