Some how i am unable to transfer the library that is on a new computer to my ipod.
I dont want to sync the ipod because it says it will erase all my existing songs.
Is there anything i can do to keep my existing songs on the ipod and transfer the new songs into it as well??
Pl help me.. I am a mac illiterate.

Any given iPod can be associated with only one computer's iTunes library at a time. This is true for both Mac OS X computers and Windows computers. Once you start syncing with the new computer, the old music goes bye-bye.

You'll have to make sure that the new computer's library has the same songs as the computer you used previously to sync your iPod nano. You can use an external hard drive or USB memory stick to transfer songs, if you haven't already.

If you no longer have access to the previous computer, then I advise you search these forums for ways of transferring the music currently in your iPod to the computer. Hint: use MRoogle.
