cant turn on the iPad?

i notice that even if i hold the iPad's sleep or homescreen button (separately), i can never turn on the iPad. i would actually need to hold both keys for a long period of time before i can turn it on :S

anyone knows whats up with this? :S

Holding both button is a soft reset. Do you need to do this every time after you put your iPad to sleep -- short tap of the power button ? If that is the case you might try doing a total restore via iTunes. If that doesn't help then you have hardware issues and should contact Apple for a replacement.
