can't turn push email off!!

Hi All,

I've got push email turned on for my iphone, and I'm using myprofiles (from rock your phone) to set up various profiles that I can switch between. The idea being I don't need push email on when I'm at work, so I can turn it off and save battery power...however....sometimes it wont turn off for about 30 mins and keeps collecting email

I go into settings, mail and turn fetch new data to off

I then also go into it further and set push to off, and then fetch to manually, then into advanced and select the exchange account and turn the schedule to manual....

and STILL it picks up email!!

does anyone know if there is a profile manager in 3.1? I really need to be able to switch profiles quickly and easily without having to adjust several settings to get my phone into the state I need it. if there is one, I can dump myprofiles until it gets reliable

no there is no profile manager in 3.1. what you're asking for is something found in a real phone. the iphone is mainly a novelty toy.
