Cant unlock my IP5 CANADA BELL SIMLOCK

Hi

I have Iphone 5 from Canada Bell network so i have simlock. I cant use other simcard.
One week ago im writing to Canada Bell but they said

"I'm sorry that you're not able to unlock the phone you have. Indeed, only the original owner of the device can request it to be unlocked. I apologize for any inconvenience"

This is impossible !!! This iphone is form second hand , no blacklist ,no icloud

Can someone help me ?? Propably Canada Bell consumer can unlock this phone ;/ maybe someone ??

They are probably correct other than contacting Apple to get it unlocked for $150 if you can prove you purchased it or that it is now yours. When I dumped Rogers I had Rogers unlock my phone before I switched to Bell. I since then purchased a 5C from ePay that is on Bell my current service provider staying away from iPhones on different carriers because of possible hassles of unlocking problems and of course the additional cost of unlocking added to the purchase price making it not viable. My two choices on my ePay shopping was locked to Bell or unlocked but of corse the unlocked were at a usual ridiculous price with everybody bidding on an older 4S or 5 that I was looking for.
Just a thought here??
IF this phone is not Blacklisted from being reported lost or stolen, or doesn't have an outstanding unpaid contract creating a blacklist from carrier you should be able to retstore to new phone status by doing an erase or reset and get Apple to unlock it for you.

Isn't unlocking through carriers or basically other parties rather than through Apple directly?
