First post. I've got a G3s and my phone and itunes both say I have 7 updates pending for my apps. When I open updates in itunes it says I have no updates. on my phone when I try to update it shows an account which I no longer have (provider no longer exists) and which I cannot access. The apps were purchased on this account. I have tried 2 restores and have de and reauthorized accounts in itunes. Anyone else have similar problems or a fix?

I swear the same thing happens to me. I read about an update online and then go to the update section in the store and nothing is there. Or sometimes it updates apps for me but the date is from months ago and clearly I've checked since then.

Update your iTunes Account

My iTunes account started on one e-mail address, and I had to switch to a new e-mail address. If I opened a protected song in iTunes on a new computer, it popped up my old e-mail address, but it accepted my new e-mail address and current account password.

If you've updated the e-mail address on your Store account, just try the new address.

I've updated the accounts in itunes but still shows no updates available. The old account still turns up on the phone when I try to update on it even though I've changed the account in itunes on the phone. My hair just caught on fire.

You can always, to get around your problem, delete the app from your iTunes account (and, iPhone) and then install it again. The installed app will be the updated one.
