This has been posted in the IOS forum but I thought I’d try here too! This morning I got the notice of the 14.6 update, ready to install. Because I was not connected to power and lacked the battery charge to do so, I put off the install. Later in the day the install button was briefly there, as was the notice of the new update, and then it literally disappeared before my eyes. Now it says my software of 14.5.1 is up to date and there is nothing else. I‘ve rebooted, turned wifi on and off, turned airplane mode on and off. Still nothing works. Any ideas?

Wipe your device and start afresh. From there, check for updates.

According to a poster on a similar thread in the iOS 14 forum the update has been pulled and is being worked on! Apparently he called apple care and that’s what they told him. Must have been pulled right while I was looking at it. Worrisome as it is on my phone and I hear there are significant problems and no way to downgrade once updated. Yowza.

It is working this morning — updating now. Wish me luck! And no mine didn’t come with 14.6 installed!

All M1s come with 14.6 out of the box as far as I know.
Mine came with 14.5. I installed 14.5.1, and I should have left it there I updated to 14.6 and I sort of wish I didn’t. I had a near perfect no-blooming screen with 14.5.1..
