Can't upgrade to 10.10.1

For some reason, my mac won't let me upgrade to 10.10.1. I go to system update - which takes me to the App Store, and it just thinks I'm update.

Have you had this problem? How did you resolve it?

I'm getting so frustrated with my 15" rMBP lately...

Have you tried downloading the update and installing it manually from Apple's site?

What version and build number of the OS are you using now? (Choose "about this Mac" from the Apple menu and click on the version number of OS X in that window.)

Then just download and install the 10.10.1 update from here:

You need to click on the "Version 10.10" text in that window to show the build number.

That is the release version of 10.10; I was curious if it was a prerelease version of some sort. If you download the update from here, does that work?
