I have a free account, so I understand I'm limited to 1000 photos.

I was under the impression I could continue uploading, but with each upload the oldest photo would be deleted.

But I can't upload anything and haven't been able to for weeks, it just tells me I'm limited to 1000 photos and to pound sand.

Am I still waiting for flickr to propagate changes and will eventually be able to upload or are free accounts just plain done unless you manually delete a photo every time you want to upload another?

If the latter, smell ya later flickr.

I deleted some photos weeks ago so I had 999 and it won’t let me upload anymore. Then I deleted a few more last night, but still the same.
I’m not going to start paying for pro when my experience is the site just isn’t as pro as it thinks!
I only created an account to host pictures on here, but when we changed platforms that was no longer necessary.

Yeah I assumed it would just auto delete the oldest photo, but if it's literally going to lock out my account then there's no point in having a Flickr account anymore and I'll just delete the app from my phone.

The flickr interface has gotten infuriating to use over the last few years so it's no real loss. When you can't tell what any icons actually are for, there's a problem.

Mine is just going to sit there for a while. Will think about if I even need another option.
