Can't use EarPods Mic on oMP with Continuity?

Today I got my ac/BT4.0 card from MacVidCards and it works great! Nothing is wrong with the card but for whatever reason when I call someone or pickup the phone from my Mac Pro, the person on the other end cannot hear me. I'm using Apple's EarPods via the front mounted headset jack, and Sys Prefs even sees the Mic and is select as the default, however it just refuses to use it. I can hear them, but they can't hear me.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

PS: FaceTime Audio calls work just fine.

No because I figured this is software related, not hardware related.
