I can't use X/XS/11 Pro models due to OLED PWM induced migraines. Got the 11 now and it's so huge so I can't use it one handed like I want to. Feels like a brick.

Before that I had the iPhone 7 which for 3 years which I really liked but battery-life sucks.

So what are my options really? The regular iPhone 8?

As you can see I've got a big first-world problem at hand. Any advice is appreciated!

Isn’t the 11 LCD? How would it cause OLED headaches?

How is the battery life in the 8 though? Any improvements over the 7?

I own a 11 Pro Max, 11, 8, and a iPhone 7 too. The iPhone 8 destroys the iPhone 7 in battery life. And the A11 is a beast inside too nearly as powerful as the A12. The iPhone 8 is much more efficient than a iPhone 7. You can manage all day battery life.

8 or 8 plus.
The iPhone 8 Plus is bigger than than the iPhone 11. Plus model iPhones are about the same size as the Max iPhones.

Your best choice is the standard size iPhone 8 if you want a small phone. Rumor has it that next year Apple will release an SE model based on the iPhone 8 size.

And indeed they're actually bigger. I was comparing my 8 Plus to 11 Pro Max in the apple store today. At a guess I would say mine was at least 5mm taller and maybe 2-3mm wider. iPhone Plus are the largest iPhones made to date. Not for the faint hearted! :D
