I have iPad 4 which I want to restore. At first i tried to restore in windows with latest iTunes and i am getting error: iPhone could not be restored unknown error -(1)

Then I tried to restore on Macbook pro computer with OS X El Capitan and latest itunes and I am getting error
The "iPad" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (50)

Both times in windows and mac I tried to restore my iPad with recovery mode and DFU mode and it always gets stuck around 60% in progress while doing "Restoring iPad firmware"

EDIT 24.01.2016:

I have tried different computers, usb port, usb cables with no results

From windows computer I get this information from log

I know this is a super old thread, but I'm getting the same issue with an iPad Air Cellular. Any ideas, I figure its a baseband issue from the logs, but how do we fix that?

Hmm, maybe try approaching it incrementally: are you able to do a Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings (obviously, backup device first!)?

Unable to do that as device has already had restore process started, it now just fails in iTunes.

Has your model recently exhibited "No Service" or "Searching..." out of nowhere? If yes, it's a baseband issue. It'll need a repair.
