Since updating to 12.5, I've found Captchas impossible. Round and round and round. When I thought I'd reached the point at which they believe I am human, it goes back to the beginning. Close friend also having issues. (I use mostly Firefox, friend uses mostly Safari.)
Difficulty is knowing where the problem lies - with the site? The Captcha supplier? (OK - Google.) With Monterey 12.5?
Although the issue has only appeared since 12.5 update, there were reported issues with Google service sin the UK last Monday/Tuesday. Could be coincidence. Also, I don't actually hit many Captchas, so it could have gone wrong up to a week or so ago.
Not looking for help - I can probably go elsewhere - just opening up a discussion to find out if this is widespread.
