I'm looking at getting a capture card to stream what I am doing on my iPad Pro with OBS Studio to Twitch or YouTube. Does anyone know if any reasonably cheap capture cards for a Mac Studio can do that at all?
The BlackMagic Ultrastudio is your best choice and about the same price. I have both and I can say the CamLink 4k is a TOY compared to the Ultrastudio.

I use the BlackMagic Ultra Studio and Elgato CamLink 4K and not one issue.
Do keep in mind, The BlackMagic doesnt show up in Quick Time if you use Quick Time to record videos, Though CamLink does. It seems CamLink will show as a regular webcam option in many programs but the BlackMagic not so much.
BlackMagic did show up in QuickTime in older OS versions but Ventura for some reason, It doesnt show

On a side note, the BlackMagic Ultrastudio supports 10 channels of audio and works great for routing an Apple TV through the Mac Studio for a proper surround sound HTPC experience from Netflix, Apple TV, etc without having to listen to everything only in stereo. When used with OBS, BlackMagic capture devices have a custom device configuration, allowing for better control of the video pipeline. While both can record in 4k/30p, The Ultrastudio can also capture at 2k/60, which is beyond the range of the Camlink 4k. And finally, the Camlink 4k pushes video that appears over saturated when compared to the Ultrastudio.
