Apple doesn't seem to carry such an item, a Google search was fairly limited. HyperMac had one (for $150, gack) but it has been discontinued. A search of eBay yielded several in the $20-30 range. I'm not sure I want to trust one of those.

Anybody know of one that works for sure? One of the reasons I got this little guy is to bring it with me when traveling by motorcycle. I would likely camp at night so I wouldn't be able to plug it in except on occasions that I stay in a motel. So I would rig a power lead into my topcase on the back and let it charge while I'm riding. Of courses the MBA would be in a protective case too.

Thanks.

Rob

There is no official one. Apple doesn't make one, and MagSafe is patented.

The best you can do is an inverter combined with the regular power brick. Not very efficient, but there you have it.

Inverter

I agree with Zinka, a viable solution is an inverter and the charger brick that came with your MBA. I got one for about $20 that works just fine. Good luck
