We have tried multiple methods and have changed phones and cables. We have the latest iOS.

It happens every 2 to 5 minutes where the left speaker cuts out

The car is a Honda CRV from 2023

Are you sure it’s not the speaker or speaker wire?
It's not a speaker wire issue since it will literally go out whenever the phone is playing media via USB. It never happens when the radio is playing. Still don't know why it was happening. At least I found temporary fix.

CarPlay audio has been consistently glitchy for me since installing iOS 26. Audio has a stutter/pause every so often. I can’t figure out a pattern. Not so much that I can’t use it. Very unpredictable. And zero notifications have come in when it happens though IS what it seems like. I’m on an iPhone 16 pro with wireless airplay to a magic link adapter in a VW eGolf

mine is a wired connection. Been happening since 2023. Also noticed it disconnects randomly.

Also wanting to mention that phone calls sound like your underwater with one ear blocked. Sometimes the sound would clip and would get super screechy. I’m not even on iOS 26.
