Wow, I really like CCC. But I haven’t used it for a long time. It seemed to make a lot of sense over TimeMachine, or at least to back-up for an easy restoration. If it still works in 2020 I’ll probably update it, and start using another hard drive along with TimeMachine.
That would be foolish and shortsighted on Apple’s part...
CCC has been around for a long time and saved my arse countless times when Apple screwed the pooch on patches, updates and half baked time machine system restores.
The developer of CCC has already fixed the problem with version 5.1.18 (available today) and the developer of SuperDuper has stated a fix is coming soon.
