One of the challenges of the App Store is actually discovering things that you'd want, if only you knew they were there! So those of you who use the Carbonite backup service on their PCs might like to know that there is now a free Carbonite App that lets you access your back up files from your iPhone.

How well does Carbonite work now? A friend of mine had it on his MBP and it was terrible, tons of issues, so we finally uninstalled it...lots of manual work to do that.

I use Mozy now, but it's hokey...

I've been using Carbonite for about two years now and it works real fine on my Windows laptop. I've never actually had to use it, thank goodness, but from time to time I check that the files are readily accessible and so far no problems.
