Especially the material on the optical drive 'entrance'.

i was wondering this too how do u take care of ur iMacs screen???

I've found that warm water and a soft cotton cloth are great for cleaning up the blood and tears of whoever touches my screen.

I use a microfiber cloth to clean my screen, with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.

I go easy on the alcohol (maybe no more than 1/3 of the solution). Don't use a paper towel or anything, and don't use a cleaner with ammonia in it... at least not on a matte screen (not sure if it's AS big a deal with a glossy screen).

Everybody has their own preference. I use a microfiber towel and slightly soapy water. I'd only move on to other solvents if water isn't doing the job. You can't necessarily see dulling you may be causing with non-polar solvents.

can anybody tell if this is suitable for wiping old sneeze marks:eek: from my Mac screen. it appears to be harmless/

and would it be okay for a macbook screen?
