CarPlay issues

Carplay isn't working on my Aidi MMI since I updated to ios15. Has anyone experienced this or even better if you have a fix.

By not working I'm assuming its just not connecting? Tried removing the iPhone from the car and iPhone then plugging it in and trusting a new connection?

Yes, Un plugged ,Rebooted phone . Its back working now, wonder if the cable is a bit dodgy

I've known CarPlay to be very fussy about cables in the past. Generally stick to original or MFI certified cables and also if the connection into the phone is iffy then it can cause issues. Might be worth giving the port on the phone a clean as well as you can be surprised as to how much stuff gets in there and compacted by cables being plugged in and out all the time.

I've always had issues with carplay in my Huracan (uses Audi MMI), Range Rover, Mercedes, etc. Sometimes wired carplay refuses to work at all until the car resets after being parked for a while.

The ONLY car I've had a reliable experience with carplay is wireless carplay in BMW. Works every time.
