It probably doesn’t matter about the vehicle in question. But, my 2021 Jeep Cherokee isn’t working well with Apple CarPlay re: too low a sound volume. I of course tried cranking up the Jeep’s volume control, but it seems unresponsive/ to low during hands-free phone call, or Apple Music. The volume control on the iPhone itself seems to do little good.

I guess what I’m searching for is a way to raise the volume of my BT phone calls, and of course not be blasted at high volume when the AppleCarplay reverts to music.

Oddly I don’t remember having this problem before on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Maybe it was fine tuned, and just can’t remember how to do it.

I am running the latest iOS, and I did ask the dealership to update the Jeep’s CarPlay firmware/sofware before taking delivery last week.

I really love CarPlay!

When you use bluetooth is the volume different than when you are plugged into carplay? If so, your radio should (maybe?) have a volume adjustment that allows you to change the comparative volumes between the different inputs.

Thanks! I’ll check it out. I think I’ve only been using the BT when making or accepting phone calls.
