CarPlay Texting Issue

since the upgrade to 18 when i use CarPlay and send a text via Siri the text isn't repeated asking if i want to send it just pops up on the screen with the option to cancel or send it. didn't have this issue with 17. suggestions ???

Mine has always done that. Even before 18.

It seems like iOS 18 changed the behavior of Siri with CarPlay. Try checking Settings > Siri & Search to make sure "Announce Messages" is enabled. You can also try resetting CarPlay settings in Settings > General > CarPlay.
