Carrier ipcc / plist file update / location help

can anyone please tell me the location on iPhone as where to place the carrier.plist and version.plist files if i want to put them manually and not to update them as a part of my carrier.ipcc through itunes.

where XXX is your network carrier's name.

should it not be placed somewhere . system/library/carrier bundles.

It's the same thing.
the var directory is in the private directory.
When you're browsing at the root ( / ) level, you'll see listed the private directory and a shortcut to the var directory.

Simple as that.

My MMS on 4.3.1 isnt working, if I copy this file from my working 4.2.1 iPhone to the 4.3.1 iPhone, will it start to work again?
