I have tested Visible and it was ok. Coverage is Verizon, so if you have good Verizon coverage you should be ok. It is online only, so no way to talk to anyone and no stores. It is a no-frills plan and pricing is good.
For me, 2 lines would have been 90 dollars (top tier plan) and then two watches another 10 for a total of 100. I decided to go with T-Mobile however (moved off of AT&T due to cost) due to some perks I get on the plan that make it more cost effective.
I did a trip up to the Black Hills in South Dakota while testing against AT&T, and the coverage was very good. In Deadwood, coverage was marginal on both AT&T and Visible. Then went down into Colorado and coverage was also good. I think coverage is comparable to AT&T, but not sure if Visible has the same roaming agrements as Verizon so that might be something to look into.
Overall, i think it is probably one of the best low-cost solutions. Activating ESIM was painless. I did not transfer my number over so cannot comment on that, but my overall experience was positive.
It's easy to test if your iphone has dual ESIM capability (or a blank ESIM). You can just download the app and sign up for a month and see how it goes using their data while you keep your AT&T line as primary. Make sure auto renew is off and you can just try it for a month to see if you have good coverage.
