On A Apple
I just updated my iphone carrier *as prompted by iTunes* and now "Cellular Data network" is now no longer in the ''network'' menu. So now I can't stop the net from running on my phone, thus using my credit up like that!

Ima aussie, and using Telstra did anyone else get this? My life is failing, I cant txt now. :p Please someone tell me how I can turn it off.

I'm on Telstra too and got the update. I am not fussed because I use the default APN.

Mind you, having an iPhone on Telstra and not using the NextG data network is crazy. It's not (hugely) outrageous, at 100MB for $10 on prepaid (which comes out of the monthly recharge) and 150MB for $10 on a contract.

The bigger problems are for those folks who use the other APNs who now can't choose which one to use.

So... start buying data packs or install http://support.apple.com/kb/DL926 on Windows or jailbreak and fix the problem that way.
