Carriers grayed out

I purchased a 1.1.2 iphone today from somebody. The phone was already jailbroken and had the anysim unlocking program installed however it had never been unlocked. I ran the anysim unlock program and everything went ok but now when I go to choose a carrier it says "Automatic" "T-Mobile" and "AT&T" but they are all grayed out is there something I did wrong and how can it be fixed. Thanks
