iPhone Carrot Weather (in the UK)??

Guys I'm constantly seeing Carrot Weather being referenced as the best Weather App (for iPhone & Apple Watch), however from what I see as a Dark Skies user in the UK is that:

• You do not get standard hyper-forecasts unless you buy an additional premium subscription? You get these as standard with Dark Skies.
• The UK is not supported for all aspects of the application?

Am I right or wrong? Is it worth the outlay?
