I was looking at this (though I really want a aluminum case), so I'd be interested in hearing opinions as well.

well i'm not really looking for a "protective case," just a shoulder strap kinda carrying bag to carry and of course protect my MBP and a few accessories

Does anyone own a STM Medium Loft 15-inch Shoulder Bag for their 15" MBP?

The reviews on the Apple Store were kinda wishy-washy and I really love the design of the bag. ...was wondering if anyone had any personal experiences with it.

Here's the link if you're not sure of what bag it is:

I took a look at that bag the last time I was at the apple store. It seemed really well built with pleanty of padding.

I have one...for my blackbook.

Actually, it's not to shabby. The color (mine is charcoal grey) and design of the bag is attractive. The physical structure of the bag feels quite sturdy, and it comes with several handy compartments (power supply, mouse, documents, etc.). Great for everyday use.

Although, the velcro can be a bit noisy in quiet places, and you obviously can't haul around large textbooks if your a student like me.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Oops...I have the Alley Bag model from STM. But you get the point.

I have a feeling STX makes good products. The 'evolution' backpack has some good reviews and I planning on getting that when I get my lappy.
