How do I create cartoon people in Adobe Photoshop Elements?
I have a Wacom Bamboo Tablet if I need it.
But I only have Photoshop Elements 6

I want to create a little dude with a hat,
and I will show the side of his face and the full front.
All I really need is the face but the full body would be better.

I just want to know the simpliest way of doing that all. ^^^

THANKS!

I'm going to say the simplest way would be scan a drawing/sketch of your little guy in PS (lock that layer) and then on another layer draw the outline and everything over your sketch so you have an almost exact drawing of your guy. You can place each section of him on separate layers or just one layer such as the head, neck, torso, arms and so on on their own layers so you can at a later time move them but also it becomes nice to have different layers so you can adjust the colors of each part.
I do this (not using PS but have tried) with my cartoons so that I can adjust say an arm that is somewhat behind the body, give it a shade darker to add a feeling of depth. Not to mention if I ever want to make a multiple strip I have arms, legs and so on to pull from my library and make life later on even easier.
Having a tablet will help cut some time out of the process and you may also benefit using it in another program(s).
Let me know if this is the type of cartoon you are referring to here: www.artjesterszone.com under Pet Peeves or on my profile page here at MR.

Also by Chris Madden using PSE on Amazon, $25 http://www.amazon.com/Create-Art-Ca...r_1_43?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1231306375&sr=8-43
