Case doesn't align properly and stuck/dead pixels... :'(

Hi guys,
Just wondering if any of you have any stuck or dead pixels on your machines? I have a blue one and it's sh*tting me up the wall. I tried everything, the website that just flashses all the different colours, the damp cloth and then tapping it trick... turning it of and on and applying pressure, all of them to no avail. Anyone else have any pixel issues?

Also when looking at my MBA from the side when the screen is closed there is quite a big gap between the keyboard (bottom half) and screen (top half) it's closed and tight towards the thin end, but towards the bigger end the gap gets quite large, about 4-5mm...should i put a book on it or something to try and flatten it out?

And if you have any suggestions on how to fix mine i would really appreciate it!

Have it replaced or fixed. It's well within your right.

Don't you have to have 8 or so dead/stuck pixels before they will replace? I heard 8 within 1.5 diameter!

I'm not too fussed about the case, just really want this damn pixel gone because i'll do a bit of photo retouching and it's going to get annoying. It's the first mac i've ever had pixel issues with.

I had one dead pixel. I returned it to the store. In my situation, it was dead out of the box.

Same thing with my ipod touch.
