Recommendations? Something designed for the 11" not a generic one-fit-all case?

I'd suggest waiting until some manufacturers actually release some cases for this model. If you are desperate I would suggest shopping around at your local retailers and look for something that you think would work appropriately for the new 11" MBA.

Wait for that company BookBook, I think it's called, makes one in the smaller 11.6" size. That makes a macbook look like an old book.... the zipper around 3 sides, is done in a way to not be too noticable. Cushioned.

I've seen their 13" and 15" BookBook cases, in that indy Mac store on West 23rd in Manhattan. So big, I don't know if I care for them so much. But in a smaller size... they'd be very nice to grab/lift/carry? in the hand.

TwelveSouth makes the BookBook. It's an awesome(ly deceptive) case.
