Does the M4 have the ability to get a case that when opened can turn on the M4? Does the M4 even have this feature?

If I am not mistaken, you can get a case from Apple, as well as some third party vendors that keep the iPad screen turned off when the screen cover is in place and wake the screen when the cover is lifted off the screen. I have a ZUGU case and a Torro case that do that.

I blew it. The apple case works, just cannot shut down the unit like I was doing, just let it go to sleep.
I keep learning new stuff.

The case that can support auto-turn-on afaik Is the Smart Keyboard Folio case. I never use that feature cause I want to let iPad doing something without turning the screen off, for example let game run in the background.
There’s another cover designed for cheaper iPad that has that feature.

The OtterBox Statement Series Studio Case does support this. I got this case due to no other was available at Apple online store that also protects the sides and back. It got a bad rap, as it feels a bit flimsy for its price, but it does the trick for me.
