I have found two cases that I like for my new MacBook. Which one do you think I should choose? The STM Small Alley or the STM Small Loft? I need to fit a few books in the laptop case (about 4 anf each about 1 cm thick.), need room for my power brick, power cable extender, and the mini-DVI to DVI connector. Also my Mac OS X install disks and MacBook manual etc... I think this might be too much to put in that these two cases. If it is, can you suggest any others that are avalible in the UK, are at the same or a fairly cheap price, do everything stated above and is quite stylish. Thanks.

I'll second the Timbuk2 cases. We just got our daughter a BlackBook™ for college, and are trying to decide between the Timbuk2 Laptop Messenger or one of several beautiful Crumpler bags.

just got a case for my new macbook

so i got my new macbook yesterday!!! YIPEEE i love it! :D anyways i live in bellingham, and that jsut so happens to be where brenthaven is based out of! so i took my macbook to their only store to see if it would fit in their cases.

i ended up buying their Edge 1 case. It literally fits my macbook perfectly!!! I highly highly recommend it! perfect

I bought an STM bag and have been very happy with it. Also looked at Crumpler, their stuff looked superb as well. The main thing that sold me on the STM was that it used canvas rather than nylon.

Yeah, I'm a rebel.

That one looks really nice, actually! The only thing that scares me is the zipper on the inside of the cover that seems to rest on top of the macbook case. I'd be afraid that it would scratch it up pretty badly.

Actually, I've had bad experiences with case zippers scratching laptops, that's why I'm looking at getting a case that has zipper protectors on it. I think I've narrowed it down to one of these two:

STM Glove...when they come out with a MB-sized one

Bitolithic Sleeve/Protection Pack

Both have the zipper protectors and the Bitolithic also comes with a screen protector, velvet interior, and an accessories bag for your mouse, power adapter, or external hard drive.

i am also looking for a macbook case or bag in UK.
can anybody give me some help please..
i have looked at ebay, and cant find a good bag for my macbook.
