If I look at the bottom of my phone straight, it seems pretty scratchless. Refer photo 1 in the attachments.

But the moment I move it around to an angle in a slightly bright light - I notice some sort of case markings. Other photos attached.

These are pretty visible if I wipe it with a micro fibre and look at it at an angle.

Can anyone else please try and see if it’s the same on their phone? I’m not sure if the burgundy colour makes it more apparent.

Seems like dust gathered around the case's open ports and got in between the case and the phone and slowly started rubbing the aluminum to the point of it looking pitted and etched.

How long had it been between cleaning your phone and case?

spigen should not be doing this to your phone , you need to contact them and let them know this could be a design flaw

This can happen on any phone with any case! I’ve seen numerous iPhone 13 pros scratches from dust and debris from Apple’s silicon cases.

Yup, especially when you are dealing with paint over metal. The new M2 Macbook Air’s seem to have a similar problem around the side plug in ports. That’s according to users posting their YT videos.

I remember those old Speck cases. Once scratched up my brand new iPhone 6 Plus trying to pry it off.
