I've been missing my "leather" loop. It was a third party knockoff for my 38mm watch that eventually just wore out and started peeling. I got a good year and a half out of it, which isn't bad for $20, but I had to glue the material back down on the lugs where it started to peel and gap.
Leather loop knockoffs have been harder to find these days, and the ones I can find get pretty spotty reviews. I've long said I would be willing to pay more for a quality knockoff, or even the real Apple loop... if only they made them for 38mm watches.
Casetify has been marketing quite a bit lately. Their bands are a step up in price from the usual generic knockoffs. Given the price range I am hoping that their stuff would be reasonably good quality like the bands I've gotten from Clockwork Synergy (as an example). I like that they admit that their $50 leather loop knockoff isn't leather. They call it a "Magnetic Loop" band and describe it as, "Band's materials mimic the look and feel of genuine leather." My $20 knockoff was stamped with "genuine leather," which I can assure you was not true. I'm just hoping that for the money this knockoff will be a bit better quality as well as more durable. After promotional code it's $40, so maybe I will give it a try.
