Hi!

So I went "all-in," as we say, and got an iPad Pro. Awesome device (though mine has some of that book-binding/splotchiness, I'm sure it can be fixed or replaced). Anyway! I'm looking to sell my iPad Mini 4, and both of these sites are offering a really strong amount - in the range of $300-320 for it (which is probably what I'd get on eBay/Craigsllist). Unfortunately, reviews are hard to come by - has anyone used either of these to sell their iPad?

Thanks!

Macmeanoffer is great. They are part of macofalltrades who I resell all my gear to. Never had a problem and have never been stiffed our flaked out of the original quote. Highly recommended pay.

Awesome! I think they're offering the most as well. This is going to be an affordable upgrade - thanks!

Which model is it?
Cellular? Color? Capacity?

Silver / 16 GB / Unlocked. MacMeAnOffer offered $310 and CashForYourMac $250+$50 bonus. Not so bad. Gazelle is at $190.

Oh wow.. That's a good price.. The last few listings I checked on ebay, nothing sold more than $250..

I even have it for $250 on Craigslist, and only vague interest. So I'm hoping these sites are legitimate....

I had a great experience recently on macmeanoffer.com. I was trying to sell an iPhone 6s Plus on Swappa and Craigslist with little interest and they made me an offer which was about $30 less. Shipped it to them with their supplied label and received a confirmation and then a check within a week after they received the iPhone. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Awesome! All the more proof I need. Thanks guys!

FWIW, it does seem like CashForYourMac is legit, too, though it is strange how few reviews there are...

I haven't used them, but have recently used www.mac4cash.co.uk to sell a 2010 iMac (£490), a 2008 MBP (£230) and an iPad 3 (£130). It might have been possible to get more privately, but they seemed like pretty good quotes to me, for such a quick and painless sale. Apparently there's a big market for referred stuff in India?

But between that and trading in my iPhone 5S for an SE with Apple (£135), that was a total of £985 towards an SE (£439) and a 9.7 iPad Pro (£619), a different elf just £63.

Have been quite enjoying actually taking advantage of the good resale value of Apple products recently!

Interesting.... Cash4YourMac and CashForYourMac aren't the same company (to my knowledge). Makes me a little more weary of Cashforyourmac.

I can't vouch for those - mac4cash are UK based, and have been great. I would hope that similar companies offering similar quotes would be legit, as presumably there is scope for them to shift stuff on and still make some money.

OP, hope everything works out for you. I'm not raining on your parade.

I checked out macmeanoffer and cashforyourmac because of this thread; thanks. If they both happen to see this -- You'll get more interest if you use HTTPS for your seller forms.

Hope so, too - iPad will be delivered today so hopefully they get back to me soon. I agree HTTPS would be helpful/make me seem safer. I really couldn't find any reviews for CFYM besides Google Reviews (which they offered $50 for) though it is mentioned in a few articles (Lifehacker comes to mind). No one on Reddit, to my knowledge, had reported on it but a few had used MMAO (and people know Mac of All Trades, too). Fingers crossed....

Your check will be sent via US Mail by the end of the following business day."

I used macmeanoffer to sell an old macbook pro recently without complaint. The packing materials came quickly, and it only took a couple of days for them to inspect the machine, and mail the check. I believe the whole process took about 2 weeks between submitting my offer request, and getting the check.

They offered more than Gazelle, who I usually go through when I trade in old igadgets, and the whole process went smoothly.

I probably could have gotten a little more on Ebay, or Craigslist, but for me the lack of hassle was worth it.

I got on macmeanoffer after reading this thread. I got a pretty fair offer (I guess) for my iMac. I may be able to make more locally or on eBay, but I know on eBay I'm gonna lose so much to fees it won't be worth it.

Never tried Amazon for something like that.

I got the check, can't say enough good things about MacMeAndOffer (and MacOfAllTrades). Fast, easy, and a great price.
