Catalaina update on iMac 2013 late 27 in frozen on "Estimating time remaining...."

Is anybody else having a similar issue? And have you found a workaround? Thanks!

I’m having the same issue here on a 2018 MacBook Pro. Its been stuck on “Estimating time remaining“ for almost 24 hours and the progress bar doesn’t appear to be moving.

Mine has been stuck for 36 hours. What did you do? What can I do?
